Alu-kies' design – with a distinct shape for each row, made to Cherry's keycap profile – has varying row angle and height to enhance comfort. Chamfered edges and lettering engraved on their front face allow for a smooth and seamless feel without compromising function.
Manufactured from start to finish on a CNC-controlled milling center, Alu-kies are produced with high dimensional accuracy to guarantee enhanced flatness and a secure fit every time.
Alu-kies' independently face milled sides and single point cut top surface are machined with cutting edges set parallel to the finished surface to create a flatter, superior finish. Light trochoidal marks on four angled surfaces and a turned appearance on top, characteristic of a machined product, provide a unique look.
Alu-kies receive their smooth reflective appearance direct from the machining process.
The included machined storage box has a locating boss for each Alu-kie for a snug rattle free fit. Its plastic construction ensures mar free storage. Brass hinges and four magnets allow for ease of use and a secure seal.
